Its a time of year when it is traditional to be outragoues and, if you chooose, anonymous!!
There are many strange sights to be seen on the streets of Calasparra on Carnival night as costumes range from incredible, fantastic, daring and downright wierd. But its all good fun and you are invited to join in.
On Saturday February 25 anyone who chooses to wear a fancy dress will parade through the town centre in the Nocturnal Parada which begins at 9pm, dancing to live music and showing off their original festive creations to everyone including the judges of the traditional Fancy Dress Competition.
