The VIII Folklore Meeting of Calasparra, which forms part of the II Gastronomic Days of Rice programme this weekend, was held yesterday in the Plaza de la Correderra.
Spectators filled the square to enjoy traditional dance and folklore groups from Calasparra and Murcia and Santiago de la Ribera who gave tradtional dance demonstrations in many differnt styles and popular songs including «jotas» and «malagueñas».
