Representatives from Calasparra Town Hall have met with the Region to demand urgent repairs to the Mula Road, roads in Valentin, the road from the Matedero to Cabezo Negro and lighting on the Mula Road and the RM-714.
Teresa Garcia, Mayoress of Calasparra and Antonio Merino, Head of the local department of Urban Development and Works, met with the regional Director General of Roads, Maria Casajús, yesterday, to seek urgent solutions for roads that have «seriously deteriorated» in Calasparra and Valentin and are the responsbility of the region.
They are:
Repairs to the Mula Road MU-552, which passes through Calasparra
Repairs to the paving on the «old Mula road» which passes over the «Viejo» Bridge
An urgent solution to traffic problems in Valentin on the Calle Amancio Marín, the RM-B32 and the narrow pass at the intersection with Calle Alto
Repairs to the surface of the service road between the Matadero and Cabezo Negro
Street lighting in various areas, such as the entrance to Calasparra from the Mula Road and the RM-714.
«We appeal urgently for repairs to these roads, which are the region´s responsibility, and are in a deteriorated state, which could prejudice vehicles and pedestrians,» said the Mayoress.
