There were three active cases of Covid-19 registered in Calasparra over the past seven days.
In the Murcia region there has been a dramatic fall in the number of new cases diagnosed. There were 310 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in the last 24 hours, compared to 456 in the previous 24 hours. Moreover, the 456 cases reported on Monday were for the 24 hours up to midnight on Sunday, a day when fewer tests are carried out.
Also on the decrease are hospital in patient numbers with the virus. There were more than 50 less patients in regional hospitals with the virus than the previous 24 hours. Currently there are 267 Covid patients, of which 15 are in intensive care.
Sadly, there were two deaths from the virus reported in the lst 24 hours bringing the total death toll to 2,296.
