The first heavy snows in the region of Murcia fell yesterday, Tuesday, causing disruption on roads in Moratalla and the highest points in Caravaca.
In Caravaca some five centimetres of snow fell in the mountains area known as El Hornico and the snow ploughs were at work during the morning in the town centre.
In Moratalla the areas of Campo San Juan, Inazares and Los Odres between five and 12 centimetres of snow accumulated during the morning causing major disruption on local roads.
Today the Met Office predicts clouds with light rain and temperatures slightly higher than yesterday
