The Epidemiology Service of the regional Health Service has announced that it suspects one percent of the cases of Covid-19 in the region are the Omicron variant.
There were over 900 new cases of the virus confirmed in the region in the last 24 hours and there are over 190 in patients.
The good news is there were no deaths from Covid-19 in the region in the last 24 hours.
