There has been a sharp rise in hospital admissions with Covid-19 in the Murcia region in the last 24 hours.
Seventeen patients were admitted to hospitals in the region and three of those were admitted to intensive care.
There were no deaths connected to the virus registered in the last 24 hours.
There are currently five active cases of Covid-19 in Calasparra.
