Local Police arrested two people in Calasparra this weekend with seven grams of cocaine in 10 small plastic packets ready for sale.
The first suspect was arrested on Friday when police officers were on general patrol and saw someone acting suspiciously. The suspect became nervous and attempted to run but was pursued by the police and stopped. At this point the officers found the 10 packets of, what they assumed to be, cocaine.
The second suspect was arrested yesterday, Sunday, inside a warehouse which he was, presumably, attempting to rob. After a chase he was arrested and 200 litres of diesel and various agricultural tools were recovered.
Both suspects appeared before local magistrates.
