The Head of the Popular Universidad, the adult education centre in Calle Mayor, took the opportunity to invite residents to enroll in new courses such as ballroom dancing, guitar, Sevillanas, story illustrations, music, dancing and languages and to suggest activities of interest.
Madu Dolores Gomariz was presenting diplomas to participants of Information Technology for Older People and Digital Photography: courses which are already underway at the centre.
She encouraged people to enroll in workshops such as Tai Chi, English or painting and in new courses such as Cookery, Make-up and Fancy Dress for the Carnival or making medieval costumes.
“The new workshops will be less hours, more intensive, numerous and more varied,” she said.
She also asked people to suggest new activity ideas for workshops and courses at the centre.
Courses and workshops continue until June.
