The first doses of the Janssen vaccination for Covid-19 will arrive in the regions this Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Caroline Darias has announced.
The National Agency for Medicines and Sanitary Products approved the vaccination yesterday following an examination which demonstrated the risks of thrombosis were minimal and were far outweighed by the advantages of the vaccination.
The first deliver of Janssen in the regions will be 146,000 doses, which will be employed exclusively for the 70 to 79 age group.
