COVID-19 VACCINATIONS IN CALASPARRA
Some 31,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccination are expected to arrive in the Murcia region this week, to be distributed among 17 municipal areas of which Calasparra is one.
The region aims to carry out 31,000 vaccinations on people aged between 75 and 79 years old.
According to the Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, the local authority has designated the old nursery premises for mass vaccinations, although for now they will be carried out by the local Medical Centre.
VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FOR PATIENTS
The Health Authority has created a virtual assistant to improve the service for patients.
The application is called “Salomé” and also covers Caravaca Hospital, informing patients of appointments via their mobile phones when they arrive at the hospital, allowing them to remain outside the building until their turn is announced.
Readers are advised to stay alert for messages on their mobile phones with appointments for vaccinations.
