During last month, March, there were 981 unemployed people in Calasparra, according to statistics released by SEF, three less than in February.
In the last year the number of unemployed people in Calasparra has increased by 83. The majority of these are older than 45 years (453); some 390 are between the ages of 22 and 44 years; and 138 are less than 25 years old.
The service industries (catering) count for the majority of the job losses closely followed by agriculture.
