The curfew, from 6am to 11pm, and the restriction on residents to remain within the municipal boundaries, has been extended for a further 14 days and is revisable.
On Saturday all the bars and restaurants in the region closed and will remain closed for at least 14 days. They are allowed to provide a take away service.
Residents are advised they may not leave the municipal boundaries unless they are going to work or to study externally, attend medical appointments and other indispensable journeys.
People attempting to leave Calasparra may be asked for documentation to prove their journey is permitted.
The regional health authority and the local Heath Centre are also appealing to residents to voluntarily restrict their movement to the absolutely essential.
The Stay at Home message appeals to residents not to leave their homes unless the journey is absolutely essential.
