The low cost airlines have already started to programme their operations at the new international airport in Corvera for the new year and the company, Jet2, has announced it will operate flights from November.
Ryanair has also announced that negotiations are “maturing” and plans 25 routes from the Corvera to various European destinations aiming to attract two million passengers.
The airport authority, Aeromur, states it expects to close negotiations with some 12 airlines and anticipates flights will be operating by the end of April or “at least by the summer.”
The airlines transferring from San Javier airport to Corvera are currently considering a timetable which will obviate alterations to their services for their customers.
