The fire in the Silla de Mula (known as Los Porriones) has burned 400 hectares of mountain slopes and vegetation and is still burning this morning, Monday.
The fire was declared at 6pm Saturday. Residents of 17 homes have been evacuated and the UME (National Defence Force) has been called in.
Some 350 firemen, Forestry Brigade, Civil Protection, Guardia Civil and Local Police have been attending the scene.
The fire affects an area of great ecological value in Mula and Bullas.
