Calasparra Town Hall has posted signs with
recommendations for residents taking advantage of the first opportunity to walk
and take exercise.
It is important that we take care and do not overdo it on our first day
breaking out of confinement. Here are the recommendations of the local
authority.
Don´t be in a hurry to get fit again. After two months shut in the house it
will take time to regain your physical strength and fitness. Start little by
little.
Even if you have put on weight during the six weeks the time it takes to lose
it will vary. If you are have put on a few pounds you will have lost muscle
tone and you should take it easy the first few days.
Training
at home. Many of you have been keeping fit at home with alternative forms of exercise
from those you need in order to run. Give your muscles and tendons time to
adapt before getting back into running.
.Progression. Make a plan in order to
return to your normal exercise pattern.
If you have never used running as a regular exercise start by walking rapidly,
run a little and then walk again.
Return to exercise in a progressive manner and not too intense.
Enjoy exercise with common sense and responsibility.
Look for the positive side of your
isolation at home. Use your return to
exercise as a prize for having been patient and respectful during a long period
shut in your home.
