The Mayoress of
Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, has asked everyone who is returning to work today to
follow the recommended precautions from the Health Authorities and to employ extreme
measures of protection.
The Government Delegation in the Murcia region has distributed 334.000 masks
for those returning to work. Some 4,000 have arrived in Calasparra and are
being distributed by the local police, the Guardia Civil and the Protection
Civil in industrial areas, bus stops and on leading roads out of the town.
There will be a meeting of the Round Table which coordinates the activities of
the local police this afternoon to monitor the distribution of the masks.
The return to work takes place within the State of Alarm and restrictions on
the movement of the population remain in force.
