The Voluntary
group, Calasparra Se Mueve, (Calasparra on the Move) has donated a massive 21,000
euros to cancer research.
The money was raised through sales of the Charity Calendar, the Pink March and various
other fund raising events organized by the group throughout 2019.
The Head of the Cancer Research Unit at the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la
Arrixaca, José Luis Alonso, received the donation at a ceremony this week.
Members of the group have thanked everyone who contributed to the cause and
helped make the donation possible.
