The Calasparra branch of the Caixa Bank has donated 6,000 euros to the Town Hall to fund a Social Policy Project, which will provide economic help for families on low incomes.
The symbolic cheque was presented to the Mayor of Calasparra, Jopse Velez, by the Director of the Calasparra Branch of the Caixa, Jose Thomas Legaz Torres.
Also present at the ceremony were the Director of Business for North Murcia, María José Martínez Villa; the Director of the Bank of Institutions, José Antonio Murcia Sánchez ; and the Councilor for local Social Policy, Antonio José Merino Moreno.
The funds will help families on low incomes meet their basic needs.
