A special open air
mass was held in the Nuevo Pozo area of Calasparra, with the statue of Our Lady
of Hope from the Sanctuary as the centerpiece.
The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, attended the mass, with the President of
the Sanctuary Foundation, Fulgen Sanchez, other members of the Foundation and
councilors from the Town Hall.
Following the mass a commemorative plaque was unveiled in the Calle La Cerca.
