Mortgages are on the rise again as the Euribor, used to calculate mortgage interest rates
in Spain, rose to 2.097 % at the end of this month, August.
Householders with average mortgages of 150,000 euros over 25 years, which are due to be revised in August or September, will pay an average of 40 euros extra monthly, 582 euros monthly.
This is the fifth consecutive rise in mortgage interest rates after 14 months of decreases. It is predicted that the mortgage rate will reach 2.5% by the end of the year.
