All the results of the Half Mountain Marathon organized every year by the local Club Alpino in memory of one of the club’s founder members, Antonio Beja, are now available on the Club Alpino webpage www.clubalpinocalasparra.
Our own Kevin Threadwell, who has been training hard since last year’s marathon when he came in last, improved considerably on his time and position this year. He came in 118th out of 145 male runners with a time of 1 hour 22 minutes and 32 seconds. The final runner in the men´s section came in some 23 minutes later. Kevin came in 122nd overall out of 160 participants many of whom are members of regional athletics clubs.
The marathon was won by Antonio Martinez Muñoz with a time of 1.22.32.
