School children from four local infant and primary schools attended a special ceremony to receive their Road Safety Awards from the Chief of Police, Miguel Moret, and the Head of the Education Department, Maria Dolores Gomariz, following the III Road Safety Education Day organized by the Town Hall.
Madu Gomariz reminded the children that road safety was not a game and urged them to use the information and good practice they had learned to keep themselves safe.
The Pedreras, Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, Sagrado Corazón and los Molinos schools took part.
