The annual walking route to the top of San Miguel takes place every year around the date of the Day of San Miguel.
In Spain each saint has his/her special day and for this reason the Spanish have two birthdays every year: a day to mark their saint and the day they were born.
This year the route will be on September 30.
Meet at the Tanatoria at 9am.
It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes or boots. A hat and sun screen is also a good idea.
Sign on at the Tourist Office.
If you haven´t walked to the top of San Miguel before it is highly recommended for its 360 panoramic views of Calasparra and the surrounding countryside.
