Fancy your hand at a bit of ecological gardening? This is your chance to apply for a 105 to 115 metre plot to grow organic vegetables.
The Head of the local Department of the Environment has announced the availability of 15 plots (Huertos Urbanos de Ocio) near the Erás de Ursula area of Calasparra.
They are currently being prepared for planting and have a controlled irrigation system.
They cost between 32 and 35 euros a year, depending on the size.
If you are interested you have the whole month of August to apply.
