The XI edition of the Festival de Bandas de Cornetas y Tambores Villa de Calasparra (Cornet and Drums Festival) will be held on Saturday March 10.
This year participating bands will be “La Verónica” from Alguazas; the Cornet and Drum Band from the brotherhood, Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, from Calasparra; the Cornet and Drum Band of the Santísimo Cristo del Perdón, from San Pedro del Pinatar; the Cornet and Drum Band “Sentencia”, from Albacete; the Cornet and Drum Band of the Brotherhood of San Juan Evangelista y la Dolorosa, from Calasparra; the group of cornets and drums “Tómbola”, from Alicante and the Cornet and Drum Band of the Brotherhood of Ecce-Homo, from Calasparra.
The Festival will begin with a procession through the town at midday starting at the crossroads of Avenida Juan Ramón Jiménez, with Calle Higinio Marín, and finishing in the Plaza de la Corredera, where three bands will play.
In the afternoon, from 4pm, the festival will, continue in the Rectina Ferial when all the bands will play.
