The local football team, GH Seguridad Calasparra, has won the honorary title of Winter Champions after finishing the first part of the Segunda División Autonómica Murciana brilliantly, with a victory over Pinatar, 1-3 , this Sunday.
At the end of the first part of the season Calasparra has a six point advantage over the second place club, logging 12 victories, five draws and just one defeat.
