A stamp dedicated to Calasparra rice forms part of the Gastronomy Series launched by the Post Office.
Some 180,000 of the stamps, with a face value of two euros, have been put into circulation.
The Council Regulator of the Denomination of Origin of Calasparra, Sergio López Marín, has welcomed the move which he says: “is good news and excellent advertising for Calasparra rice, its quality and prestige, as through the stamps, it will reach the whole world.”
