Snow generally causes great excitement in Calasparra as it comes rarely and doesn´t last very long.
So warnings of the first snowfalls for 10 years being forecast for tomorrow are considered good news in an area where rain is a novelty and snow is a rare weather event.
According to the Met Office there is a high likelihood of snow in Calsparra tomorrow, Wednesday, and possibly on Thursday too.
Temperatures are also likely to fall below freezing in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
However, according to predictions the cold weather and snow will not last more than a few days. Unlike other areas of Spain where temperatures have plunged to 20 degrees under and snowfalls measure metres.
Enjoy!!
