The Met Office has issued an Orange Weather Warning for rain and winds in the Calasparra area of Murcia.

Householders are warned to keep windows and doors closed and keep drains clear to avoid flooding.
Also to unplug electrical appliances during storms to avoid damage caused by surges in current.
Motorists are warned not to cross flooded areas and to stay in their cars in case of emergencies.
