The 1,872 kilometres of urban and rural bicycle routes in the region are now featured on the website www.bicicarm.es.
The Head of the regional Department of Public Works and Ordinance, José Ballesta, officially presented the website, Bicicarm, yesterday.
Residents of Murcia can use the webpage to personalize bicycle routes in all the municipal areas of the region and get to know the 1,872 kilometres of cycle ways, urban cycle routes, interurban cycle routes and rural routes on the regional landscape.
Ballesta said this dynamic and intuitive website was accessible to any resident in the region and provided maps, historical and geographical facts, including the height of hills and a mass of other information to aid cyclists plan their routes.
