Once again many Council Tax bills,(Impuesto Sobre Bienes Inmuebles) issued in September and payable by Thursday December 1, 2011, have not been delivered by the private company contracted by the Town Hall.
If the bills are not paid by December 1, 2011, there will be a “recargo” (a fine by any other name) added to the bill.
If you have not received your bill go to the Agencia Regional al de Recudacion in Calasparra and obtain a copy of your bill. The office is inside the SEF Office in the Gran Via and is on the right hand side. You will need to obtain a ticket from the machine and wait in the area outside the office. In order to obtain your bill simply give the assistant your NIE Number.
All homeowners are liable for this tax.
This information does not apply to those who have arranged direct debits through the bank.
