Members of the local government team at Calasparra Town Hall observed a minute’s silence in a demonstration of solidarity with the family of a victim of domestic violence in the region.
This week members of the adminstration, led by the Head of the Department of Transparency and Citizen Participation, held the protest, called by the Federation of Municpales of the region in solidarity with the family of the 19 year old victim of domestic violence in Librilla.
With this gesture the local government team and the workers at the Town Hall expressed their firm commitment to equality and roundly condemned any form of domestic violence.
The 19 year old victim was killed, allegedly by her partner, last week in Librilla, Murcia.
