The local police have arrested a man on suspicion of robbery with force in a country property in Calasparra after being alerted by neighbours.
It was late afternoon yesterday when local police recieved a call reporting noises inside a country property. Officers attended the scene and found the man inside the property, the front gate open, the window bars forced and property taken from the house in the suspect´s van parked near the property.
The suspect was found inside the property and was arrested after a brief struggle.
Officers discovered that the lock on the front gate had been forced and the window bars ripped out to give the suspect access to the property.
