Calasparra has launched a special edition of Calasparra Rice to celebrate Caravaca´s Jubilee Year and the first sacks will be presented to the first pilgrims to arrive at the Basilica from this Sunday.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, and the Mayors of of Caravaca, Hellin, and Moratalla joined the Senior Brother of the Brotherhood of the True Cross ( Vera Cruz) and representatives of the DOP Arroz Calasparra to present this gastronomic commemorative product.
This is a joint project of the «Camino de la Cruz Foundation» (Route of the Cross Foundation) and the DOP Arroz Calasparra to promote the gastronomy of the area as part of Caravaca´s Jubilee year this year.
The commemorative sack of Calasparra rice will be distributed all over Spain.
