The news that the UK Government has removed Spain from the list of safe countries for tourism has landed a death blow to the country´s recovery.
Additionally many UK residents who have already booked a holiday in Spain face a two week quarantine when they return to the UK.
Belgium and Norway also recommend not travelling to Spain and France has warned people against travelling to Cataluña, where there is a serious cluster of Covid-19 contagions, which borders with France.
The Spanish Government has given assurances that the new clusters of contagions are being contained and that masks are obligatory in the majority of regions making Spain a safe destination for tourists.
