The PSOE, ruling party in Calasparra, has petitioned the regional government for more medical staff , additional resources for the local Emergency Department and an improvement in waiting times.
Under the slogan «Calasparra Can Not Stand It Any More» the PSOE cite their «maximum concern for the grave situation» of the Emergency Services in Calasparra.
The PSOE has presented a motion to the regional government demanding «sufficient resources» for the local emergency services which currently » put the health and even the life of local residents of Calasparra at risk».
The party also demands the «urgent addition» of a Primary Health Emergency Service for Calasparra with a team of professionals to attend emergencies in the home
Additionally, the PSOE demands an improvement to waiting times for specialists, diagnostic tests and interventions
