The celebrations to mark the anniversary of the Donation of Calasparra to the Order of San Juan of Jerusalem have been organized to coincide with the annual Fiesta of the Region of Murcia on Saturday.
Shops and businesses across the region are likely to close although, of course, bars and restaurants will be open for business. In Calasparra we have the 4th Ruta de Tapas with many local bars offering a small beer and a tapa for 2€ over the weekend.
The medieval market will be open all over the weekend from Friday night onwards.
