Two different kinds of very traditional but very different brands of Spanish music are on offer at early evening concerts in Calasparra this weekend.
Firstly, the National Music Festival, in aid of the local Red Cross, is on Saturday April 2 at 4.30pm in Cine Rosales. The participating drum and cornet bands will parade around the town centre before the concert.
On Sunday young Flamenco artists offer guitar, song and dance in the Municipal Auditorium at 6pm. All tickets cost 7 euros and can be bought at the Auditorium Box Office an hour before the show giving you time for a quick tapas in one of Calasparra´s bars before the show or an early supper afterwards.
