The 112 Regional Emergency Number received more than 100 reports of smoke and a smell of burning in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday.
Following investigations it transpires that the tongue of smoke reported originates from the grand forest fire currently raging in Baix Ebre, Tarragona.
The Emergency Service reports there is currently no risk to the regional population.
