As the risk level for Covid-19 contagions in the Murcia region is established as “low” the Covid Monitoring Committee has given the green light to mass events and concerts with a maximum of 5,000 attending from tomorrow.
The 5,000 limit can be exceeded if this number does not represent 40% of the capacity of inside venues and 60% for outside.
Limits on other celebrations, such as weddings, baptisms and first communions have a limit of 100 inside and 200 outside.
The Committee announced the relaxation of some restrictions as contagions in the region fell by 30% compared to the previous week and other indicators, such as the number of in-patients and the number of active cases, are progressively in decline.
The limit on 10 people in private and public parties remains in place and people from different households may not meet between 2am and 6am. (The latter is principally aimed at stopping bottle parties in the street and public places as is the ban on the sale of alcohol from 10pm to 6am outside bars and restaurants).
The maximum of six people at a table inside bars and restaurant remains and 10 on terraces.
The regional government has appealed to residents to wear mask during the local and regional fiestas.
Calasparra remains at “medium level risk” for Covid-19.
