Calasparra Town Hall has put out to tender the over two million euro project to reform and develop the original bull ring, the Caverina.
At an estimated cost of 2,0760,000 euros this 100 year old construction will be adapted to the current norms in order to guarantee accessibility, safety and the comfort of spectators.

The new «Caverina» will have a capacity of 2,600 and will be suitable for concerts, cultural events, and social and educational meetings as well as bull fights.
Calasparra acquired the Caverina from its previous private owners and over the past few years, while waiting for the its rehabilitation, have been renting a mobile bull ring for taurean events.
