Dogs Rescue Calasparra would like to publicise the generosity and humility of the participants of the recent Rave set up over the New Year at Cenajo.
Dogs Rescue report;» A friendly young woman approached us recently to tell us that the money collected at the recent Rave was destined at various different associations and donated 150 euros for food, medicines and attention for our dogs.
«The young woman did not want to be a protagonist at all and didn´t want us to publicise this gesture, however, we feel bound to make a special mention.
«We want to say thank you for this lovely, friendly gesture. One should not always think negatively and complain about the damage that they may cause, but rather see that behind the Rave were marvellous people with values.
A million thankyous from all the dogs we have at the refuge.»

Every New Year in Spain a massive Rave is organised spontaneously and illegaly, that inevitably raises alarm amongst local residents and public authoritities. Depite the efforts of the Guardia Civil the Rave went ahead and lasted four or five days. There was concern that when the site was vacated a substantial amount of rubbish was left behind. However, within a few days of the end of the Rave the organisers publicised a «day of rubbish collection» on the site and the everything was cleared.
