Pupils at the Pedreras Infant and Primary School in Calasparra will hold a stall in Fridayś market to sell keyrings they have made to raise funds for Dogs Rescue.
The stall will be near the entrance to the New Town Hall building.
These pupils wanted to do something to help Dogs Rescue volunteers at the refuge where they are currently overwhelmed with abandoned puppies. So they asked their teacher to help them make the keyrings.
Look out for the stall on Friday March 27 at the weekly street market.
The pupils have also made keyrings and other novelties to sell in aid of Calasparra Se Mueve, the local association that raisies funds for cancer research.
Last year this admirable group were able to donate a massive 23,000 euros to the cancer research unit at the Arrixaca Hospital, raised through local events and donations.
