Primary School children took part in the Benefit Cross Country Run last Monday and donated a toy to ensure every child has receives a gift this Christmas.
The event was organized by the local Sports Department, through the Infant and Adolescent Committee of Calasparra, in aid of Caritas and the Red Cross, and all local primary schools took part.
The event is part of the Sustainable Objectives Programme, which aims to put an end of child poverty and underlines the right of children to play and enjoy themselves.
