Local police issued fines for failing to wear masks and failure to respect social distancing this weekend in nocturnal venues in Calasparra.
Following the prohibition of social activity inside bars, clubs and discos after 10pm and other restrictions introduced by the regional government as a precaution against the spread of Covid-19, police officers increased nocturnal patrols over the weekend.
They carried out inspections of all the terraces in the town in order to guarantee the limitation on numbers and the use of masks. They also inspected betting bars and monitored the presence of minors.
The following restrictions and limitations have been imposed in the Murcia region:
Any group of a private nature must not exceed 15 people
All activities inside discos are suspended and can only take place on terraces or in open air spaces.
Social activities inside bars and other nocturnal venues can only take place up to 10pm
Consumption at the bar is not permitted and neither is dancing
The bars must close at 2am at the latest and the last clients can be ad mitted at 1.30am at the latest.
