The local police set up a road block at the entrance of the RM 715 Calasparra/Socovos Road, also the single point of access for the Cañada Verde urbanization, yesterday, New Yearś Eve.
The motive for the road block appears to have been to block access to an illegal rave set up near the Cenajo reservoir.

Hundreds of vehicles set up in the area of the Cenajo reservoir after the Guardia Civil stopped the convoy installing in the Hellin area during Tuesday night.
The Guardia Civil aimed to prevent the convoy arriving at its destination, near Ferrez, but in the event, finally up to 1,000 people camped out at Cenajo where the fiesta was held.
