The regional newspaper, The Opinion, reports 24 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the region over the last 24 hours.
Some 10 of these cases have required hospitalization, one in intensive care. The cases isolated at home total 448.
The cluster in Totana, traced back to a late opening bar, has reached 112, and in Atalayas, traced back to a nightclub, the total number of contagions is now 97.
There are 16 confirmed cases in Lorca and 21 in Mazarron.
Totana is still in lockdown and the regional government is considering a similar regime for Lorca and Mazarron in order to contain the outbreaks.
There have been a total of3,922 confirmed cases in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
The statistics released by the Ministry of Health report less cases in the region. This variation could be due to different reporting times as the Ministry´s statistics reflect numbers up until 2pm this afternoon.
