The Met Office (AEMET) has issued an orange weather alert for the Murcia region today, that includes Calasparra, for torrential rain and storms.
The warning, that covers today Sunday November 3 and tomorrow Monday November 4, has been activated to warn the public about the possible weather conditions.

AEMET advises residents to exercise precaution, to maintain themselves informed of changing weather conditions through television and/or social media, and to avoid travelling if not absolutely essential.
In case of flooding avoid garages and underbuilds and seek the highest safe point in your home.
Do not cross flood water in a vehicle or by foot.
If you must travel avoid local roads and tracks but preferably don´’t drive.
Call 112 in case of emergency.
