The XVIII Mountain Half Marathon, held in memrory of Anthonio de Beja, the oldest mountain race to be held in the region, took place in Calasparra this weekend.
There were two races, one of 21 kilometres and the other of 10.5 kilometres, whihc mainly takes the runners along footpaths and tracks on the Sierra del Molino.
The start and finish line was on the Gran Via in central Calasparra.
The event was organized by the Club Alpino (the late Antonio de Bejar was a member) and Calasparra Town Hall with the collaboration of the Athletics Federation of the Murcia region.
